Home Hospitality

Home Hospitality provided by the Friendship Force clubs of Central Virginia, Central North Carolina, and Baton Rouge.

Live With a Local

  • Friendship Force is focused on promoting understanding, cultural education and citizen diplomacy through homestay Journeys and personal friendships. This focus is well and truly realized with the three planned Journeys to clubs in the eastern USA.
  • Cultural evening with North Carolina club at the Piedmont Land Jam - a benefit concert for the local Piedmont Conservancy, which features well known bluegrass and country musicians.
  • Cajun day with Baton Rouge club, including dancing!

Sightseeing Highlights

  • A Louisiana-style BBQ with all the trimmings at a city park.
  • Visit to a farmer’s market and mountain-top orchard in Virginia.
  • Visit to local wineries, breweries, and distilleries in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
  • A trip to the International Civil Rights Museum in Greensboro.
The three US clubs almost guarantee spectacular autumn colors as we travel from north to south in October this year.
